I got a desktop utility from Intel for free since I have the D975XBX2 and it gives cpu temps and 2 other "areas" on the mobo, plus a bunch of other info. King, I'm gonna look for that gc monitor you have ......any links?

I'm gonna look for that gc monitor you have ......any links? I'm running this: www.nvidia.com/object/sysutility.htmlThe DL is on the left side of the page. I can't remember if the "NV monitor" & "NTUNE" was included when I installed the GC drivers... I'm pretty sure it was though.

Pretty sure it will work 911. As long as you have a Nvidia VC & Nforce chipset on MB. Click the link & read the requirements to make sure it will work on your system.

Call911 are you runnng a AMD processor ? if so amd runs alot hotter than Intels due to the way they mulitply the FSB and the Clock speed... A average temp for an Intel is about 40-50 degrees Celcius whereas a AMD will run about 50-65 degrees Celcius if your temps are hotter than these numbers a Bigger Cooler should be installed... Heat is one BIG problem and can cause slow response and even PC crashes... ALWAYS check the fans for dust buildup because that can effect the way it will run....
